The economy "going up" as you say, has nothing to do with Senor Bush. That's what economy's do, they fluctuate. After such a downward trend, chance dictates that it would go up at some point anyway. Don't you find doing what's right for OUR country, and OUR country alone problematic? We've gotta stop believing that an American life is worth any more than any other life. That's why we're in the situation we're in. Goddamn you've been brainwashed pretty thoroughly.

 

It's actually very refreshing to have a president that is willing to do what's right for our country regardless of what other nations may think.

We'll just see where this "you're either with us, or against us" stand on foreign policy gets us. People don't fly planes into buildings simply because they're "jealous" of our culture. Stop swallowing the bullshit. Instead of curing the ailments, shouldn't we be finding the cure for the sickness? So we capture/kill Osama, there are thousands to take his place. What does that accomplish? Getting to the top, while stepping on the lives of innocent bystanders in wrong. And as a nasty little by product, spawns resentment.

 

who are these innocent bystanders? the ones strapping bombs to their children or their wives or even themselves and blowing up not only our soldiers, but their own innocent civilians? if you believe that you're swallowing more bullshit than you accuse anyone else of.

history tells us that in any conflict ever.. there are allies and and the situation is always, if you're not with us, you're agains us. just because the UN stamp isn't on this conflict doesn't make it any different. if you believe it does you are poorly misguided.

Don't you ever stop and wonder why these people are doing this? Are they scumbags and wrong? Of course! But we're repeating our mistakes. We can't please everyone all the time, but for christs sake...shouldn't we be taking a different approach here? The problem is slowly getting worse and worse, retaliation after retaliation. Don't you plan on having children? Aren't you worried about the future? I'm sick of seeing armed Marines every time I walk into Grand Central station, and I don't want my kids to have to see that either. We're fighting to "free the people", yet you can't even say the word BJ on the air without getting fined these days. Does that make sense to you?

I have an honest solution, which many will not agree with. The only way to stop these people is to change their beliefs. These wackos believe in hate and murder under the Koran, and the only thing that can change that is having them turn to the one true God, Jesus Christ...So my answer is missionaries and prayer...there is only so much mortal man can do, I would rather turn to God and ask his help.

Also on a side not, I like marines, they make me feel safer.... ... not exactly in public buildings though
