you learned an important bit of religious history from a cliff note sentence off of a HONDA webite? I don't think he's criticizing you for urging him to read the whole story... The phrase you used, "oh, for the love of god, go read a book," was snotty and kind of bitchy.

catholics broke off from christianity? i thought catholicism is the branch of christianity that kept the original early christian traditions and baptists/adventists/protestants/etc. branched off (martin luther's reformation, calvin, etc.) anybody have thoughts on this?
