Back when Honda owned Rover and Land Rover

Honda marketed the Land Rover Discovery in Japan and Asia as the CrossRoad, against Land Rover's wishes

When Honda sold Land Rover to BMW, it replaced the CrossRoad with the CR-V

Well that explains the CR-V
