Default I'm pretty sure my computer died on me :(...

:wtf: Yesterday, I was on the computer in the morning, when I woke up around 11am. I used it off and on that day, then left my house at like 5pm or so to go out for the night. When I came home, my computer was off (I knew I had left it on) so I thought, "oh well, someone shut it off" I go to boot it up, and it won't turn on...no power...I check all my wires/connections---all good. Everything works except my computer/CPU!!!! This sux. Any suggestions/ideas?

PS I switched the power cables, and it still didn't work, so I know its not the cable...

Could it be a fried power source? Fried ____________?

Thanks

Power supply may have crashed on you.

Whats the current power supply output and what all is installed on the machine (meaning harware...# of total drives etc.)?

The same thing happened to me a few weeks ago. The power supply probably took a crap on you. Hopefully, the cpu or the ram didn't go as well. Mine didn't so I was lucky. I just went to newegg and bought a Fortron with extended warranty and shipping for $58. It arrived in two days. If anything, get the power supply from newegg.
