Default anyone from Riverside, CA??

I just got accepted into school (UC Riverside)there... was looking up apartments on apartments.com and it seems that the price range for apartments around there is $720 - 1100...... that's kinda expensive...anyone knows of a good apartment for a decent price... i might be flying out there in a month or two to find an apartment.... any help would be appreciated...thanx

I'm from Riverside County....I live in Hemet which is about 25 mins from Riverside. Apts are pretty expensive in that area check the surrounding areas besides just Riverside. Go to the website www.PE.com it's the Riverside County newspaper and they have apts for rent etc on the website. Hope that helps.

LOL yea they have a walmart and a biglots and they also have the .99cent stores... But yea Apts are expensive around here..heck in pretty much all of So Cal...so I wish you luck...but check out that website I gave you you might find one for cheaper if you're lucky.

the atmosphere is of a research institution. everyone walks around like they have to go study all the time. there's no school spirit, never any good parties...should i go on?

I thought riverside wasn't too bad compared to other places in SoCal for rent?

Anyhow, to the dude going to school, just rent a room. Probably cost ya $400-600 at a house. h:
