have a nice day, sweetheart.
sucks to be that guy.
i think thats part of the used car game, if you want something to be reliable, or warrantied, than go buy a brand spanking new car. otherwise, you can always expect something to be wrong with a used car.

I had a similar experience selling my supra.... that thing was the worst money pit you could imagine.... I sold it for 3k, and thought to myself "that poor SOB," but I was so flat broke that I really couldn't have cut him a better deal. When he took if for a test-drive, he just puttered around the block at under 3k rpms, never once spooled up the turbo.
I remember feeling really sorry for him, but almost a year later, I saw my old supra alive and well driving around. Either he put in a lot of money and revived it, or the thing just held out. Either way, it was gratifying on two levels: knowing the guy ended up w/ a fun car, and knowing that goddamn money pit was off my hands :exnbp:

I've worked on that Laser, so has HatchVX. Keep you stupid Karma BS to yourself.
And for your smartass remark, yes, I do buy cars in need of TLC. Have you ever bought a car with a blown engine, knowing it has a blown engine? I have.

shudup about the stupid karma...point is...car was runnin fine...he told the dude he sold it to what was up....sucks for the dude that bought it, but the dude that bought it should have had it looked over by his own mechanic before he bought it. It isnt the fault of the seller for the buyer not knowing his ass from his elbow.
