which VTEC motors loud?

Default which VTEC motors loud?

I was talking this topic with some of my friends last night, one of my buddy said his B16A1 VTEC is louder, another one said his H22 VTEC is louder, ane I said my GS-R VTEC is loud as ****, which one you think its right? I've droven both of their's car, but IMO, my GS-R VTEC is lounder then both ot their's B16A1 and H22, GS-R has dual stage VTEC..

GSR does not have dual stage VTEC...h:

No it doesn't. It has a funky dual stage intake manifold though.

Agruing who's motor is louder? Sounds like a pretty dim thing to talk about in the first place. It all depends on what intake, exhaust, and cams you have, neither of the three are natually "louder."

If you want loud, buy an old 79-85 RX-7 with the carb'd 12A, bridge port it, and slap on a straight pipe exhaust. That will make your ears bleed at 7k RPM. Until then, don't worry about noise. Louder is not always faster.

well considering they are only talking about honda made cars i would say the h22 seems lounder then my acura gsr :\ thats me, i can gear my buddies vtec easly where i have to try and hear mine.

It's an absurd topic to debate IMO. The volume of a motor is largely dependent on the type of intake used, whether it's FI'd or N/A, the exhaust system, etc. etc. Any motor can be made uncomfortably loud- but loud doesn't equal efficient or powerful.

i know but where not talking about power are we? atleast i dont think we are lol they asked our opinion on what is lounder (dosnt say stock or anything) but in my opinion its the h22. so why are we gunna debate it they asked our opinion.... there not asking us to fight with our opinion :P

this thread is funny. lol, reminds me of all the loud ass cars
i beat racing and my car still isint even making half as much noise
