I got one in the mail today from the police officer who illegally took my vehicle salesperson license.

It was all wrapped up like how my highschool girlfriend used to give me notes h:

N E ways, it was good to get an apology. I understand how someone could have made that mistake, but it was something an officer should not have done, esp. if liquor store clerks know the difference .

 

Good guy to apologize like that.

 

Yes, it's admirable that the officer admitted his wrongdoing.

So has your case been dismissed? Has your salesperson license been returned or re-issued?

Yeah... I eventually had to talk to the chief of traffic police to get something done


An no, no dismissal of case. I talked to a lawyer that knows the traffic judges in SB, and he said that there was no chance that my defense would fly, mainly because the judges wouldn't give a shit about anything besides me talking the left turn, unless the cop ripped me outta the car and beat me senseless or something like that. I'm just writing a letter now requesting them to let me take traffic school again because it's been 17 months since my last infraction, and the maneuver I made was not dangerous or in complete disregard to the law... left turns are allowed there during the evening and morning... just not the middle of the day.

 

Darn. So much for wishful thinking. I hope they grant you traffic school, seeing as how it's too late to fake a beating. h:
