Sorry to say this, but I seriously cannot understand how anyone over the age of 14 can watch dragonball anything. It's like... the Mr. Roger's Neighborhood of anime.

"Vegeta...... I.... Will... Destroy... You!"

*cue 30 minutes of powering up that sounds like an Herbal Essences commercial*

"Can you power up at home kids?....... I knew you could!"

Anyway, I'm big into Studio Ghibli. Nice stuff, all of it. Bits n' pieces of Evangelion... still don't want to watch the whole thing because I'm afraid I'll turn into that ass that compares everything to Eva. Lain, FLCL, Trigun, Nadesico, Di Gi Charat, Excel Saga, All Purpose Cultural Catgirl Nuku Nuku, JoJo's Bizarre Adventures...

And of course, the ultimate ownage, Hyper Police!

Wolf's Rain, Scrapped Princess, Moon Princess, Ai Yori Aoshi (kinda old girly anime, but it rocks), Naruto, etc.

FMA is the story of 2 brothers, Edward Elric(older) and Alphonze Elric(younger, by one year) They practice the art of alchemy, which applies the rule of equal trade, which allows alchemists to creat things from other things, or rebuild broken things. Their mother died, and they desided to try and revive her using alchemy, which is against God and is forbidden (taboo) they fail and Alphonze loses his body, and Edward loses his leg. Edward is forced to sacrifice onw of his arms to bind alphonze's soul to a set of armor. The story is about their search for a way to return themselves to their normal bodys. It does rival naruto, but i wont place one or the other in higher standards.
