photo critique! *chicago*

un-Touch'd krew
I like em all but the second one is a little overexposed...maybe turn the fstop down a bit so the building doesn't wash out into the sky like that.
Good shots though I really like them.

The 1st and and last ones look the best to me.
The second one is framed too tightly for showing all three buildings. Not enough of any of them is in the shot and there is not enough sky showing.
I have the same problem with the third one, it's like you don't know if this is supposed to be a picture of the fire escape or the building.
Composition on the one with the flag is good but the sky is totally white. Use a polarizing filter to get some more contrast with the sky and maybe play with how you're enlarging it (or use photoshop) to get some more detail.
The 5th one I don't know what the hell that thing on the side is but it looks reasonably interesting. There should either be more of it in the frame and less sky, or use a wider lens and get more of the frame filled up with sky while showing more of the object, whatever it is.
I like the composition of the first and last ones the most, but you need to do something to make the sky show up more instead of just being empty white space. A polarizing filter would definitely help.
Man, I'm such a critic. :chuckles:

I feel the same about the lens however, it was a really cloudy day and twords the end of the afternoon. Most of these I had to bump up the contrast in photoshop - thus loosing small details like the sky :happysad:
The last one, Im gonna mess around with more but I think I may blow it up and frame it for my sis's b-day.

pics look good to me
on a side note: chicago drivers are physcos. i went up there 2 weekends ago with a friend to pick up his 00 2 door accord 5 speed and the driving was crazy. going 80 mph and even if you leave a cars length infront of you, someone will take it WHILE NOT SIGNALING. no one in that city knows how to use a turn signal. and those damn toll roads suck. oh well. enough of my ranting
