Ok serious now,
I have a few friends that bought the Level 5 Rosetta Stone for Spanish.I don't exactly know the amount of time they set aside to actually sit down and do the program but it took them about 4-6 months to start speaking/understanding the basics with fluent speakers. Not sure about the reading/writing aspects as I was told that was also part of the program.
Bottomline they said it was helpful and was easy to grasp but they also said it was more of a tool to help them progress because they were already in a predominantly Hispanic environment.
