Some will argue that that my be so, I did at one time. I don't believe there is more to existence then Earth life, I know it.

Others will argue that believing in an afterlife is done so in Fear of their lives being a waste. I didn't have that fear through my agnostic days, and now I understand why I don't through my restored faith.

As long as they were knowledgable proper practicing Latter-day Saints, I'm glad.

Just so you know, that's the wrong word, and you should probably change it.

The reason you experience occasional animosity is twofold.

1.To the overwhelming majority of Christian faiths, your faith is heretical and outside the Seven Councils of the fathers who formed the Christian faith and solidified the foundations of its existence.

To those churches, it looks like you just made up some extra information, created your own new book, and started preaching from your own standpoint, which is outside the views of the ancient church of the Seven Councils.

You are still Christian because you still believe in the dual nature of Christ and the salvation evinced therein. However, you are definitely heretical.

2.The other problem is that you cannot seem to approach any matter in this forum without your faith becoming the crux of the discussion. Your signature is too long, openly challenges people to click on your links, and in view of past events is irritating enough that sooner or later one of our less tolerant moderators is going to take action.

Although an item might be hashed to death in one thread, you will raise the issue in another thread as if the discussion in the previous thread never happened, forcing the people whom you anger to make their points all over again.

It's a little innervating.

You might want to consider toning it down a little, shortening your signature a little, before you make somebody so mad that he or she does it for you.

Consider, also, the remote possibility that your example in life and your presence and thoughtfulness as you post might be the best example of your faith than any argument or signature statement could possibly provide.

Heh. I think we should limit sigs to 3 lines. This is just my suggestion, some people have huge sigs and it kind of negates not allowing pictures in sigs.

i went through a similar childhood, going to a presbyterian church and being forced to accept there was a God.
