Here are coilovers

here are springs

Here are cut springs

still more coils and more resistance then coilovers.

however, cut stock springs would be very wrong only because they dont have the girth and strength of race springs

I can tell when I see a car with coilovers. It bounces all over the f'n place.

My car rides rough, but doesn't bounce



however, I plan on getting a better set up in the future h:

theres a difference.... each coil is designed to hold so much weight... you can get the less coil coilovers the same overall weight rating as more coil springs... and cutting would just lower it...
