I'm about to undertake it in T-Minus two weeks (well, just over). My buddy and I are prepping the car, which I've done before (time consuming, not hard) and my bud's dad, who has owned an autobody for 20-years and does awesome work, is spraying it.

Anybody ever done theres?

 

It's not hard, the most important thing is to prep it WELL. Good luck! Make a DIY with lotsa pics

 

I will. I plan on putting in 12+ hours of prep time. :happysad:

Removing moldings, trim, door handles, etc.

Putting on my OEM spoiler and removing my mudguards, painting my grille body color, and shaving my badges while there too.

 

I've painted cars, but not my own (I didn't own one at the time). It's not hard work...you just have to be patient and make sure you do it right. Spraying is the fun part. h:
