Default Got my Apple... Now I need some help please

I got the 15" SuperDrive Power Book. Now how do I get it to work wireless? I have a Linksys 2.4 GHZ if this will help.

Ooh.. Hmm...Err. Well.. ummm..drat.
I honestly don't know how to configure Airport™ to run with a third party wireless router. h: I've been land-lining it all along.

I'm sorry I can't be of more help. :happysad:

u can call Apple tech support for free since you are a new owner. their number is 800-275-2273.

the airport is usually automatic detecting when u run it with their base station. did u find the airport controls/settings and check that for the configuration?

"To create or join an AirPort network, use the AirPort status icon in the menu bar to turn on AirPort and choose an available AirPort network."

http://manuals.info.apple.com/Apple_...ortExtreme.PDF

That should tell ya how to get it working.

Amazing what you can find on manufacturer websites sometimes, eh?

if you're in a PC environment, you might have to enter a "#" before the password / key
