seriously...i just bought a dell for 500 shipped with a 15" lcd screen. plus it has a 100 mail in rebate so its 400 and much betta than yours, i can teach you, but ill have to charge...

when i was in the market for a pc Dell was my first option, when i was closing the deal over the phone the guy that was taking care of me was a complete a$$ he was the most ignorant mothafukker ive encountered and hung up on his a$$!!

It's actually not a whole lot cheaper, especially when you consider the cost of software like Windows XP (if you *purchase* it, that is). What you do get is more control over the quality of the parts, upgradeability and mod-ability. Some people don't really care about this stuff. :dunno:
