Midnight in the garden of good and evil was a wierd movie. But, yeah nice picture. Your trigger happy nature is making me yearn for a camera. But I am so frigging broke.

Yeah I think I finally touched the limits of the camera last night and I am not happy with that

I may need to upgrade soon because unless I am missing something it just isn't going to do what I want it to.

That sucks, do you guys have a camera test drive program. We have one at the mall here, you can take a camera and use it and if you don't like it you can return it.

Not sure haven't checked that out at all.

I am looking into a used SLR digital because this C-4000 while being a nice camera, I don't think it was even remotely intended to be doing what I am trying to do.

Look into it, once my car comes back from the shop I am getting on that program because I really want to get a versatile camera by the end of summer.

SLRs... what price range? Canon (EOS 10D) and Nikon (D100) make some very good SLR cameras. Also heard the Fuji finepix S 7000 is good, dunno if its true SLR though.

I will definitley let you know...I am thinking in the next month or two I may be looking for one...gonna give this one a little more time because I may have missed some tricks with it. I am asking at Iphoto right now to see if I hit some limit with the camera.

Heres an example of what is happening.

*big pics BTW

Note the spotty response in the black and the noise generated in the picture.

Of course these are extremely dark photos. The helmet shot taken in the garage pitch black, and the statue outdoors with only the mostly full moon and a flashlight was used in both pics to highlight (light painting).

Finepix is not a true SLR but I have heard some very good things about it. The 10D is actually very high up on my list but I haven't looked at the D100 at all yet.

I see the issue... look into the Canon, Nikon I mentioned. Olympus also makes a good one the E-1 and E-20N.
