Default California Honda Owners: CHPs All Out!

Within the last 2 weeks or so I've noticed ALOT of CHPs on highway 99 in Stanislaus and Merced Counties. I work at a gas station and I heard from someone that talked to one of the CHPs and said that they are cracking down hard right now, I've already been pulled over TWICE (been folowed by them 2 more times). I mean every morning to the JC, I see AT LEAST 4 of them pulling someone over or checking speeds on the freeway. Anyone else in CA notice this???

I've been seeing them a lot more as well, also heard they're coming out in full force. Wierd thing happened yesterday, I drive into my college parking lot and the school pd rolls near by as I drive. Then heads down a ways, then comes driving by my car when I'm starting to walk to my class.

I would imagine if a CHP saw you speeding at anytime (not just nowadays during the "crackdown") they'd pull you over and ticket you...

Maybe now they're just doing their job a bit more efficiently. =]

Don't speed, and everyone will be A-OK.

I doubt the Police Officers are doing it to raise funds. However, it is a good source of revenue.

Not enough to pull the state out of 4-8B in debt, though. With a projected 50b by next year....

methinks the revenue raised from the tickets goes to the local county anyways
