he played 33 minutes coming off the bench I wasnt comparing the 2 of them. They logged by far the most minutes of anyone reguardless of conference. Playing time is generally more split up then that

Mike Dunleavy and Rick Adelman. I'm merely pointing out just because you can have an all star cast you're only as good as the coach.

the nba is a joke. the star players dictate how the game'll be played.. lotsa ego's involved, and if the player cant handle the coach, guess what, the coach is gone. fukd up hierarchy, anyhow. luck or not, phil jackson has managed egos well and has been successful. not many others can say that

I do agree that they are both good coaches. All star rosters dont always work the pieces have to fit together correctly. Portland, Dallas, in the NBA, The mets and Dodgers, of previous years in MLB The NY rangers in hockey. It all depends on the right mix of players
