I disagree about the glove shot...I think it works exactly like it is.
Those are a very nice improvement and overall I think every one of them looks good.
The bird one....not so sure about a little far off for my taste but its my taste so who cares

same here I like the glove shot. the only thing i would have done differently is maybe take another slightly higher angle shot.

use more angles like in the second last shot. You have a lot of verticles and horizontles in the composition, but I dont see enough usage of perspective and light - make it move!.
Also, I'd wait till sunup or sun down and really work with the extream contrasts from the sun light.
