Default Passport question

The document not the vehicle...

So I am needing to get my passport and I haven't had one in a few years and forget what kind of documentation I need to have in hand and if its a pain in the ass......etc

So anyways has anyone gotten a passport in the last year and how much hassle is it?

Birth certificate is all I needed, but then again I have an Irish (EU) passport.

But I think my EU passport > all. I get to live and work in almost any country in Europe. Pick up chicks in Sweden and then drive on the Autobahn in my Porsche. (Oh wait I was dreaming again. h: )

Where are you travelling to? I am thinking of saving money and going on a solo trip to Europe summer '05. Probably do it around the Le Man 24 hrs, I really do want to go back to Ireland and visit the house we used to live in... I think when my brother went in 2000 he said our neighbors were still there.

Well I am thinking about a trip into Europe but not sure right now...this is kind of a if I choose to thing right now.

I really would rather just move out of country but I really can't until my daughter gets older.

The first go around was pretty easy....basic documents...Birth certificate, DL, etc...
But I lost mine and went to apply for another one. THATS a bitch. They frown on issuing passports to people who should still have a current one.

Oh... if I ever have kids I am moving back to Europe. Education system is a lot better there. Is the reason because your little one can't handle the move because she is too young?
