In an import magazine I was reading, there was paint that you could buy to spray over your licence plate so that when any photos of the plate were taken (photo radar, stop lights, toll routes) it would just show a reflective white spot over the plate number. My question is, does anyone know what the ingredients are to make a home made version? and also how to make it?

You can just use hair spray... but I don't think it lasts that long...

 

Yeah I saw this in Option about a year ago. If you are caught having it on your plates you get hit with altered plates though.

you know how street signs light up and some fireman jackets do also when your headlights hit them, i wonder if you can paint your whole car in reflective paint :thinking:

i think its the physical properties of the material that make it so reflective. not a paint.

In some states, the license plates are reflective like that. It can be made into a paint. In Maryland for example, the white background has that reflect-y paint and the characters are raised and painted gloss black.
