feel like the board is too small/unorganized because all the sections have merged together?
i mean, i wanted to read about del-sols but now they are mashed up with civics.. then i went to the for sale forum, and since i am from canada i wanted to see the canadian listings... but they are all mashed up together.. :-(
what do you think?

I don't really post anywhere but The Basement anymore, but I do also see that the lack of the On-Topic section brings more stuff in The Basement.
I kind of liked The Basement being random and there being other sections for more serious content. I can also understand wanting a Del Sol and a Civic Forum, rather than those two merged; although I can't imagine the reasoning behind merging those two anyway.
To shorten this post...
I think there should be a section for stupid posts, such as The Basement; a section for more on-topic things, like before; and I DEFINITELY think all cars (except maybe SUV's) should be listed in their own group.
*shrug*.
I still like HAN though, it rocks my socks. The new server seems faster too. Good work guys.

What merging on-topic with The Basement does is makes it hard for people to want to be serious and post "Serious" or "Smart" topics.
I mean, if I join a "section" and see a bunch of threads about rooms and girlfriends and polls and hair products and "whats your desktop" and stuff like that, it's not going to make me be creative and make a nice in depth post about something serious.
I'm not dissing The Basement, we love those nice light easy to read and fun to laugh with / be a part of topics, BUT I think the On-Topic section was good because you'd view it and instantly be transformed from Basement-Mode to somewhat serious-mode and forced to think, or not post at all.
*shrug*
