I have a toshiba laptop A25, and it has 512mb... 2 256 chips. I am looking to upgrade one to a 512mb, and eventually the other. I am almost positive that they are 256mb DDR 2700. Looks like 200 pins Does that matter? Also, Do I have to get one that is 2700? Or can I upgrade? Also, any companies or things I should stay away from?

Im also looking for a video card. Specifically a ATI Mobile Radeon. Where the heck would I find one? There is nothing on ebay..and I have only seen them on ATI's site, and thats what Toshiba said would work. I know you have to actually solder it to something in there, but any help on finding prices of those would help aswell.

Thanks... any thoughts about the ones that are in the auction? ... I see that it is for 2700, and mine is 2100. Are those interchangable?

 

you can put 2700 in a notebook that requires 2100. but you cannot put 2100 in a notebook that requires 2700

 

ok, kewl... the seller said it is made by compaq/HP, so i dont think thats what i want. Since it will prolly fry my computer or something.

Anyone have any idea about teh video card?
