just cleaned it up. so far so good. the cut looks longer than i remember, but i don't think it's any longer than 1.5".

my only worries now are that i don't let it get infected, and how insurance is going to deal with the bill. there may be some issues since i didn't go to the emergency room. let's see, gaping wound in my hand.. drive for 15 minutes to the hospital, or drive for 1 minute to the local health center. decisions, decisions..

I know what you mean....I cut my hand open with a pipe last summer. Picked up a 2 foot pipe to throw to a friend to stick in teh ground so i could chip golf balls at it, when i released it, cut my pointer and middle finger cause the end was jagged and it came right thru my hand. 10 stitches total. Almost hit the tendon on my middle finger which would have been bad. :happysad: I got my stitches out in 7 days...although i wanted them out earlier, shit heals pretty quick. good luck

oh yeah and dont be suprised if you cant put alot of pressure on the area picking things up for a long time. It still hurts my hand today if i pick up weights the wrong way at teh gym
