they should keep the center seating design, lower the seating hieght, and widen the track.... and definitly change those wheels.
It is very likely for an electric engine to be so fast. It doesn't have such a large mass that it has to spin up ( cylindres, rods, etc) and its overall just more responsive, barely any moving parts. The only problem is getting enough juice out of the batteries. If someone wanted to build a drag electric car I'm sure it would woop a lot of gas cars.
