Default Difference in Insurance?

Does anyone think there'd be a MAJOR insurance jump (ie. $50+ per month) between a '97 Civic and a '98 Eclipse? I know there'd be a big difference, but does anyone know if it'd be a ridiculous difference?

yes. you are comparing a sports car to an econobox. my guess is that the eclipse insurance = 1.5 * the civic insurance.

Yea you will definately see a big jump. I have my '94 LS which cost $300 per six months to insure compared to my '98 GS-R which is $625 per six months.

Okay, thanks for the input. I wasn't sure how much of a price jump there was...I'll have to look into it a bit more.

You know you can go to a site like progressive and put in the car info and your ticket history and get a good idea of what the difference is.
