Ramen noodles
Which kind do you like?
I've found in the past few days (yes, it was just before payday), that the Albertsons, WalMart, and the Manchuran brand ramen noodles are very similar. Only Top Ramen brand noodles seem to be very different, as the soup concentrate packet wasn't as strong as the others, and the noodles seemed more chewy than everyone else's. Not very thrilled with the Top Ramen brand, except that the noodles aren't as starchy, so there isn't such a big mess in the pan when you're done cooking them.
I'm sure everyone else will have opinions on different brands that I didn't cover, as there are only about 10000 different brands of ramen noodles out there.
Flavors tried this week:
Chicken- good old stand-by
Creamy Chicken-not as good as regular chicken
Oriental- always popular
Beef-personal fave
Pork-not bad, my kids like it
Shrimp-I'll pass, thanks
Lime Shrimp-I'll pass on this one too
Chile Lime Shrimp-I'll really really pass on this one
Tomato- not bad, not wonderful
Chile- packaging was all in Chinese. Spicy and good
I usually break the square package up into quarters and go from there with boiling water and add the 'soup mix' concentrate when I add the noodles and let it boil down some.
Your thoughts?

I've been trying to limit myself to one package a day, as I am making at least a small attempt to watch what I eat. Mixing the beef and chile flavors is gooooood.

I only eat the ramen I buy at the asian markets.
Sapporo Ichiban, and a couple others that I don't buy that often, but are still really good.
The Sapporo Ichiban is great stuff, though.
