Get a SFTP server, and run it through port 22.
Way better from a security aspect anyway.

not concerned w/ security really and im not going to use port 21 anyway once i get it working.

Try a super high port... 212121 for example. Could be that your ISP blocks 21.

its easy with dlink, linksys are bitch to configure because of their highten security sometimes.
