Default AIM help

Ok, so when I'm talking to someone on AIM, the dialog box ALWAYS stays on top, so when I click on a different program such as IE, the AOL dialog window stays on top of IE. I don't know how it got like this but its pissing me off and I want to get rid of it.

Help? :happysad:

did you fix it? and are you talking about the buddy list window? because there's an option for that under My AIM | Edit Options | Keep Buddy List on Top.

no I'm talking about my actual dialog box when you are having a convo with someone...I'll be talking (typing) and it'll be the main window, then I'll click on IE and the AIM box will stay on top. I have to physically minimize it in order for it to not stay on top

what version are you using? and are you using deadaim (or something like it)? i know deadaim has an option for keeping windows on top too.

I'm using Aim...5.3 I think. Yeah I've got deadAIM too, but I can't for the life of me find the option for it :a:

for deadaim, there's an option "keep tabbed window on top" under the general tab of the deadaim options.
