I know... a little late to jump in here, but you two aren't the only McKinney folks here... I'm just west of the Dodge dealership.... right across from the Honda dealership... nice to know there are some other HAN folks around.

 

Cool. We were looking to buy a house right off of Dogwood in that section of houses that you're in. There's too much traffic up and down that residential street since its the shortcut to the Orchids apartments. The house was a steal, too but we had to pass it up.

 

As far as Honda Cars of McKinney goes, if you need parts, go talk to Jacob. He can usually getcha parts at cost, not retail.


Anyone else in McKinney think that new location for Lone Star Buick/GMC and the new McKinney Nissan dealerships are in a really bad location on the NW corner of 75 and 121? Nearly inaccessable. It'll be cursed like the abandoned outlet mall on the SW corner (but it makes a great place to teach n00b drivers how to drive (I get to take my brother-in-law there on weekends)) thats been sitting vacant for 15 years.

Cool... Dogwood is on my walking path with the dog... there are a lot of houses for sale in that general neighborhood and you get a lot less traffic on the side streets. I'm on North Ridge, which is pretty quiet. It's also quite nice having the soccer fields and park right there.

Maybe I can get you guys to help me out when I bite the bullet and get ready to do an engine swap!
