Tell me about your town. What do you like about it, what don't you like? How expensive is living? What kinda crap do you have for fun? Just tell me all about it.

I love Boulder, but I may leave in search of work at some point in the next couple years, and Sacramento struck me as the only place that seemed close enough to decent ski resorts, but still a big enough town to be interesting. How do you like it?

Sac rocks I grew up there and lived there for about 14 years. Prices for housing are reasonable, within one hour east to the mountains, west to the ocean, south to the desert and north to the woods.

I dunno I have always loved the place so I am a bit biased that way

sacramento is one the most diverse cities in the US. we get a lot of sampling done here first by corporations.

not too much traffic
expect to pay 230k for a decent house around here, ~1600 sq ft 3br/2bath
san fran is 1:30 away
tahoe is 1:30 away
reno is 1:30 away
you can go clubbin in san fran if thats your thing.
nightlife in sac is not too big, everything is closed by 1am
sac can get to 100 plus degrees in the summer and humid but you get used to it

sacramento's cool cuz its in the mountains, about 20,000 feet up. its basically a city on top of a glacier and whats neat about that is your view changes everytime the glacier shifts.
