Default Best/Cheapest DVD +- RW ?

What should I get?

I'd like to keep it under $130 - something like Lite-On is perfectly fine.

Lite-Ons are great I just picked up an Emprex 4x DVD+/-R and RW and so far I am happy with it.

Drive cost $99 at Frys Electronics they also have an 8x DVD-R with 4x DVD+R and 4x+/-RW for about $129.00

if you can find a "cendyne" brand recorder, they're acutally pioneers. I got one, when i took it out of the box, the drive said "PIONEER A-05" ... woot!

I would stay with Lite-On. Had experiences with their CD-R/RW drives and expect them to perform just as well if not better with their DVD-+R/-+RW drives. They are good and cheap, best of both worlds.

I don't know how relevant "Mt. Rainier" support is but the Lite On 8X drives do not have it. I know their CDRW drives have it but I'm not sure about the 4X drives.
