I know a couple of Netzero people with .com addresses, so I think that's probably the norm.

It's possible that Netzero is like AOL, though. America Online has mostly .com email addresses, but uses its .net addresses for certain individuals who are employees of the firm or otherwise closely involved.

You can be reasonably certain that it's a .com address you're after.
