they have the best pitching staff around, hands down.

wood, prior, maddux, zambrano, clement

clement won 14 games last year! how many #5 starters can say that? the bullpen is completely retooled too. it's going to be a LONG year for NL teams.

not anymore, the guy has declining skills (highest era in years last season at 3.96) and a contract this large can really hurt the cubs in the future.

true ... they already have 2 flamethrowers (wood, zambrano)

kyle farnsworth has some massive power. his fastball peaks over 100mph. if joe borowski, the closer, starts to struggle ... his job is gone.

it's not too big of a contract, the cubs can afford it..

i look to see him going the jamie moyer route.
