to anyone who has the movie, "A League of Their Own" I need to know that when the girls are playing that they either pitch underhanded or overhanded.

I don't have the movie, and I don't know anyone with the movie (and I'm not really interested in renting it just to find out) so if anyone that does have this movie confirm this for me, that would be great. Trying to settle a bet here...

yeah, after i posted that i thought it might be sidearm too. i'm not sure if they all throw sidearm though.

 

Well, basically I'm trying to find out if they thow it in that weird way (with the windup that they do in women's softball) or not.

One of my friends say that they throw it overhanded and another says that they throw it underhanded with the windup...

By the way, they agreed that if they threw it sidearm, it's considered overhand.

yea, hence the title "a league of their own". iirc, the point that the women were tryin to make was that they can play "real" ball too.
