This has been an ongoing battle between my friend and me about whose car would turn more heads.

Me - 94 Accord... lightly modded... cleaned once a week, inside is kept spotless. Gets waxed regularly and undergoes routine maintenance.

My friend - 99 C5... some audio mods... has been washed maybe once or twice since he got it in 1999. For a long time I thought he had gunmetal rims until I wiped my finger on them and discovered they were silver. Inside is a mess, has empty food containers, clothes, books, dirt, mud, and everything else you can think of. Never gets washed and is only serviced when it acts up.

I think mine would and does, most people look at his car go oh Vette then sees the condition and looks at mine and tells me how clean it is.

I'll take some and post them... I think if I posted them on a Corvette forum someone would come over and takes his keys away because this guy truly doesn't deserve the car.

So a status symbol is more important than a well kept car. Hmm interesting because whenever I see a car I notice whether it gets cleaned or not, what condition the inside is in, etc before the make.

I did... he doesn't have riding priviledges in my car anymore because the last time he rode in it he spilled soda and put mud stains on my carpet. :angry: It was fun steam cleaning the inside.

 

stupid people....i hate people like that who just have absolutely no respect for a car...

 

:werd: thats why I don't lrt anyone but my family members ride in my car. My whole family is anal about keeping things clean, who else chrome cleans the sink and waxes the bathtubs. Everytime someone else gets in my car I end up getting pissed off because I have to clean up after them.
