Default Question for BMW gurus...

This is just for my own info...I don't plan on buying a BMW anytime...soon...

Does anyone know of any good sites outlining history of different models (as far as generations/body styles), what options were available, what they go for used, technical specs...stuff like that. I'm specifically interested in 3-series cars, but anything you've got would be great. Thanks!!
