..go out of their way to embarass the hell out of you....my mom is horrible..my parents are leaving town tomorrow and this is the conversation as follows:

oh man, my mom used to do the same crap to me. when my hubby and i were dating, she'd find him on IM and talk to him about the importance of using condoms and whatnot. luckily, he'd met my mom and knew she was just looking out for us, and i think he thought it was funny, but i got so :angry: :angry: :angry:

when he or i would say something back to her, like how embarrassing that was, she'd say, "well, i'm not so naive to think that you're just holding hands in the park.." where do parents get this stuff??

now that we're married, she's gotten into sending me emails talking about her "future 6 grandchildren.. haha!"

 

sounds exactly like my parents....
look at it this way...they know what you are up to and trust you enough to make good decisions and they have accepted the fact that you are grown enough to handle what they know is up....but it is still like...yo...no...stop talking...
