I think it's a lame idea for an advert.
How does a pair of furry shitbags that can't sing impart a desirable brand image upon a sandwich franchise??

I just don't get it. :a:

Look at the geek factor...and the discussions it begins...there you have your winning ad

Think of the conversations around the water cooler, "Hey Tim you seen that new Quiznos ad?" Every time that is said the Quiznos name is mentioned and that name gets passed around more by word of mouth than any number of people who will ever see it.

EXACTLY.

I haven't even taken the intro to marketing class at OSU, and I can tell you that, although it may be annoying, it gets it in your head. Think of all the famous commercial slogans and then you'll realize how annoying most of them were...but it gets conversation, which spreads the word.

True, true... but I know I'd be a lot more likely to fork out my cash to a vendor that had reasonable prices, quality product and service, and reinforced these values through their advertising campaigns. Using random, largely irrelevant ad strategies annoy me almost as much as bad products or service skills.. But I guess I'm just weird like that..:chuckles:
