Default Why are Si shift knobs so expensive

The Civic Si knobs sell for 30+ on ebay, I really wanted one for the Accord but damn thats expensive.

Think about how much the alternative would cost. The anatomical Momo leather knob is ~60. Generic leather shift knobs will be 20-30, and they look and feel like crap. $30 is expensive, but its definently not unheard of.

Junkyards sell them for next to nothing, except they are impossible to find there.
