i just went to the pharmacy to pick up my BC, which is usually $75 since insurance doesn't cover it. I had a form from my doctor saying it was medically necessary but i hadn't faxed it in yet. I pick it up, and the lady at the counter said my co-pay was $12.38! i thought she had the prescription wrong or something, but no! I guess my insurance company is covering it now!

i think its pretty cool :wiggle: so now instead of $300 a year all we have to pay is $50! yay!

I'm assuming this is birth control? I didn't think the stuff was that expensive. Have you considered depo?

EDIT ... sorry I guess you do get it. I just read the rest of the posts.

i can't take the pill. last time it put me in the hospital. and i need the shot medically. the needle part isn't bad, and i can deal with the side effects. its better than what i had to go through before.

i'm not sure what you don't trust though. worried about a few vanity pounds?

yeah i get it. depo isn't the solution for every girl though. most should stick with the pill.

The girl I dated for over 3 years in high school got on the shot. It was the ultimate birth control because when she got on it, she lost the urge to have sex in the first place
