the one rick has is the panasonic GD55
there's 2 more newer models. G50 and G51
the G50 and G51 are very similar. the only difference is that the G51 has GPRS for internet and download wallpaper and ringtone. the GD55 and G50 has CSD for internet and cannot download pics and ringtones. the G50/51 are both color screen with 4k color. u can get G50/51 on ebay for about 170. and GD55 is about 13 or less. G51"M" m stands for metallic. the design is for guys. the "E" is for elegance for girls. so when u get one make sure its "M" not "E"
almost forgot they're all unlocked from factory so u can use it with any GSM provider ie cingular tmobile att

 

now when u say unlocked does it mean i dont need a simm card anymore? or i still need one? and if i dont have one on my current nokia att phone how do i get one? thanks tony for the help i loved that phone hehe i want one now.

 

no unlocked means, not locked to a particular cell company, so yes, you can take the sim card out of your att phone put it in the gd-55 and it will work.

 

unlocked means you can put any companies simm card in it...if you do not have a current simm card go talk to your local att provider and they should be able to help ya out...tell them you broke your phone or something stupid and lost it and need a new simm card to put in a phone your buddy gave ya..

 

but i dont have a sim card in my att nokia phone thats what i mean!! heheh
