If 9 out of every 100 people is willing to flip off any Hummer they see, regardless of the circumstances under which the confrontation takes place, then the average Hummer driver will encounter 6 middle fingers per minute.

I disagree.

There are times when it becomes my business:
1) when they are in everyone's way.
2) when they're driven in a manner that endangers others.
3) or when they are wielded as an weapon of intimidation.

* Don't get me started on the issue of energy conservation...:squint:

That accounts for at least 80% of the sumo-SUV and Hummer drivers in the Bay Area. I consider it open-season on these assclowns. :squint:

first off, numbers 1-3 are all based on the driver, and have nothing to do with the car.

secondly, fuel consumption really isn't anyone elses business, other than the driver. Suburbans, Expeditions, F250s, Silverados, Tahoes and a plethora of other SUVs get similar mileage. And does it really matter if they drive their car as a status symbol? Don't you modify your ride to look good? I doubt you put bigger wheels on it for anything other than aesthetic reasons. Just because someone else's idea of what they like is different than yours doesn't mean you're better/superior to them.
