Takata makes very good quality belts. They arent worth the price...but the quality is excellent and the belts are 3 inches wide

Werd. My only sticking point - the reason why I chose to go with Sparco/Sabelt Harnesses- was the Sabelt CamLock system. IMO, if I need to get out of the car fast, I don't want to have to dink around with the segmented 5pt harnesses....just hit the lever on the CamLock and GTFO...

Seeing as how they're bagged and boxed right now... I guess it isn't all that relevant at the moment. h:

so why does the original poster needs this?

I have a 4 point harness (Schroth Profi III) because when I traded my stock seats for SRDs I lost my stock belts. But I also have a proper harness bar and it's great to have to autox.

I would prefer not to use them on the street, which is why I'm still searching for a method to get my stock belts back.

I don't really see the point in going with a full harness setup in a street car. Maybe if it sees its fair share of autocrosses and track days it's sort of worth it but otherwise I wouldn't bother.

If I was getting harnesses however, there are plenty of companies that have actual distribution channels in the USA that sell quality harnesses. It's not like you need to import them from Japan or something--people do in fact go racing here too.
