So XP won't format my external HD in FAT32...

Default So XP won't format my external HD in FAT32...

I heard it will though, it just won't do it on partitions larger than 32GB. Is that true? If so, can I just partition my external so that I can have one FAT32 section, and one NTFS section?

Do it all in NTFS and screw FAT32

using fat32 is like going from windows xp to windows 95. use ntfs nukka

He can't...he has to use it on a Mac system and Mac won't recognize NTFS

i choose not to h:

i'm gonna do my final project on a pc, but for all the class exercises, i need a mac (mac-based class), therefore i need to format my external in FAT32.

use a 98 boot disk to do it h:
