Hey just for fun What are everybody's occupations, how do you build you car. I know I am a student at CSULA and a college advisor at a high school so I pretty much rely on my financial Aid checks to buy mods and stuff. (oh yeah you gotta love that free government money :bigok: )

I save up a portion of the money I get from my dad.


I get ~400 a month.

~100 for bills, ~200 for food, ~100 spending money.

Now you know why I've had my car pretty much stock for the last year years, aside from small mods (ie, jdm headlights, custom tails, short shifter, cd player).

 

when i did "build" my car...i worked for my money as either a fast food order taker / parking attendant / civil engineer draftperson / mentor / or tutor...h:

 

$800/month


$350=Bike
$250=Credit cards
$50=Phone
$50=leftover for crap


Only saving $50 a month :a: :angry:

 

im jobless. i just go to school, play FFXI and put shit on my credit card.


havent worked for about a month. prior to that i got grants and ish but all that ended. anyhoo im gettin a loan for school and i use that to buy ish too

1k for house payment(just bought a house with a buddy!)
$400 for utilities
$200 auto insurance & gas

School: Paid for my work :rockon:

That leaves: $2200

$1100 goes into savings

$100 goes into engagement ring savings...not gonna happen soon...thats why I can only put $100 in and not worry :a:

btw my car is a pos and its not a honda :happysad:

 

damn man, 400 for utilities? you said you've got a "buddy", so does that mean utilities are 800?
