350z or S2k?
I've never driven the 350Z (something I'll have to do over break) but I've driven the S2K. The S2K is a fun car to drive but knowing that the 350Z has more torque, thats definitely a plus in my book so far.
....I'll still take the S2000 over the 350Z

Based on looks: 350Z
Based on power numbers: 350Z
Based on road holding/tracking: S2000
Based on fun level: N/A
Based on everyday practibility: 350Z
Based on costs to maintain: (betting) S2000
Honestly, I'd have to drive both on the street and on the track. If I feel more confident behind the wheel of the less torquey S2000, then by all means I'd get the S2000. Far too many people who call themselves "car enthusiasts" base a cars merit on horsepower figures.

The 350z are more a sportcar than the s2k...dunno why but if Honda will do a coupé of the s2k it'd rock it  but for now id take the 350z..

One thing to keep in mind is that even though the '04 S2k is rated at "240 hp" it actually puts out about 245 hp to the wheels. A typical stock 350Z dynos about 235 hp to the wheels. Granted the Z has a flatter curve and can make pretty significant gains from bolt-on mods, but the '04 S2k actually makes more power than the Z.
Here are some dynos.
'04 S2000 vs '02 S2000 (disregard the "flywheel horsepower" markings)

350Z (blue line is stock, red is with Injen exhaust)

There's not much point in trying to extrapolate crank hp numbers from wheel hp numbers, so it's best to just compare wheel hp numbers to each other. Using that method, the '04 S2k has about 10 more peak wheel hp.

on that 1st graph on the right side...what is that 215 number represent?
I'm about 4 inches too tall for the 350Z, so I didn't bother to drive it, but the S2K was one amazing car to drive. Also, from sitting inside both, the S2K was a LOT better designed in almost every interior respect...
My vote goes with the S2K
