New Acura / Honda oil filters?
3 Attachment(s)
so i went down to the dealership to grab some oil filters. i went to the shelf and couldnt find the one i normally used. so i asked the guy and he pointed me to a shelf full of smaller "newer" filters. i was like  he explained to me that honda is making more "universal" filters or something like that. so then i asked him since the filters were so much smaller, would it increase the oil pressure too much. he said, no...and said something about higher oil pressure might be good anyway.
me being a lil confused because i know jack about oil pressure...i bought 2 of them. :oh: i just wanted some feedback from you guys. i figure that honda wouldnt produce something that would fuk my engine up so...:dunno: i noticed the filter is made by honeywell and is from canada. here are some pics next to a traditional sized school ID. |

The new ones are made by Fram. Fram is a steaming piece of shit that I would not put on my car. The solution? The Toyo Roki S2000 oil filter, aka the HAMP...
