Free Image Resizing tool?
Anybody know of a good, free image resizing tool? I have lots of pix that i take at 1600X1200, but i want to resize them. Do you know of anything that you can just drag the images in and it will resize them?

-open a pic file on photoshop
-you will need to locate the "ACTIONS" palette. It's one of those tabs behind the "LAYERS" palette.
-on the bottom of the palette, you will see a button that will "CREATE A NEW SET"
-give that "action" a name. and if you want you can assign it a button. that way you can perform that action with a hit of a button. i use f2 for resizing to post on the internet.
-after you name it, you will see a "record" button on the bottom of the pop-up window. when you are ready to perform the task, hit the botton and do your task. if you want the task to resize, go ahead and resize an image. everything will be recorded, even the location of the newly saved image. so i make a folder called "resized" on my desktop, that way i know where exactly the resized pics go.
-after you are done "recording" hit the stop button that is on the palette.
DONE WITH STEP 1. This will allow you to resize a pic with one button. now onto batch resizing.
-FILE - AUTOMATE - BATCH
-under "set and action" find the one you just created.
-under "source" hit the CHOOSE button and choose the folder you want to batch resize.
-hit OK.
-photoshop will now open every file in the folder and run the automation that you asked for it to do.
whew.
